Is there a way if I set auto connect but only allowed specific apps to be able to use it ?

I just bought VPN Client for use on my shield TV to solely open a UK VPN when I start some English TV catch-up apps. I’ve imported the profile and can connect within VPN client fine but I can’t get it to open the VPN when I start any of the apps (BBC iplayer for example). What am I missing / doing w...
