WireGuard low speed comparing to other apps

Hi,
I have a strange problem. My VPN server is on my own Asus router. I can get up to 150MB/s when I'm using android WireGuard app or WG Tunnel. When I'm on VPN Client Pro I can get only 20-50MB/s. Tested on Xperia 5V and Samsung SM-X200.
I even wiped VPN client Pro and made new client config on router. Nothing changed.
Any clue what can cause this speed problem?

I did some tests using iperf3 and the speed seems a little slower but not that much, it seems to stay around 130-140mb/s. However I will do some more tests and try to see if I can optimize the code to increase speed...

Did you change any options after importing the WireGuard configuration?

Few days ago I even upgraded my router from AX58U to AX86U Pro. It seems like nothing has changed.
No, I didn't change anything in app iself, just imported .conf generated by router.
Check the screenshots. VPN Client Pro, WG Tunel and Wireguard. Weird thing is that sending speed is at the same level in all 3 apps, only download speed is different.

This behavior is very strange.
In the meantime I have made some optimizations that improve performance and I hope they solve these problems too.
Please, can you try the New BETA release 1.01.87?

I'm afraid, nothing has changed.
I forgot to mention that it only happens when I'm connected to my own VPN on a Asus router. When I use VPN client pro to connect ProtonVPN for example, speed is the same as when I'm connecting with other VPN clients.

Perhaps the problem is related to the MTU of the WireGuard interface.
By default it's set to 1280. Can you check both client side and server side?
On the client side there is the "Set tunnel MTU" option in the "Interface" section.
If it's not selected, is used the default value 1280.
