"Connect on startup"

Post by mariosbbs »

Hi, since some version the "connect on startup" option is not working.

at first I had thought of a distraction that would be fixed with the next beta
But nothing changed, so I thought there was a reason and I did not understand the mechanism
But it doesn’t really make sense, before I chose a profile for the connection at startup, which I always did:

and at the top of each reboot I saw the selected profile (and the feature can be enabled/disabled using the top checkbox)
below I saw "profilename - connect at startup" + OPTIONS

Instead
since some months any choosen profile appears below as "start at boot"

.. but if I do not insert an option, as soon as I go out and return to the function, inside there is nothing!
MORE:
if you add the "extra option" can see (eg.) "startup + if ethernet is on" -> exit -> enter again -> and only the "if ethernet is on" is present :?

Before it just worked... even if some Android systems could not start VPNCLientPro if you did not manually open the application once

Thanks for reporting.
The problem was introduced by a side effect of a change made to the code that manages the Spinner view choices.
In practice the vpn boot-up was set correctly, but it was set to none every time the auto connect settings were reopened.
The same problem also occurred with the Spinner present in the on demand settings.
The problem will be fixed in the next release.

If you find other problems do not hesitate to report them, the sooner they are known the sooner they are solved.
