I just purchased a new redmi android device with MIUI version 14.0.2.0(TLUINXM) with android 13, but sadly VPN client pro app does not work, in the beginning it connects, but when I move to other app, it disappears, I m frustrated , anybody can help??

I had installed two of the android apps as per your suggestion , but in vain.nothing happened, I am wondering how proton VPN android app works fine on this MIUI device, apart from that it's private dns is also not working when used with a VPN.

Have you tried following the instructions in the sections "App pinning / App locking", "MIUI Optimizations", "Power management", "App battery saver" and "Autostart"?

For the "Hidden settings" section, the proposed apps should serve to give the possibility to change some hidden options that could improve ROM compatibility. So in addition to installing the apps, I think user intervention is also needed to change the desired options.
